Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets. Dumbo flies into theaters on March 29, 2019.

The Walt Disney Studios today announced plans to start releasing Disney Digital 3D content for the home on Blu-ray Disc beginning in 2010 with Disney's A special 3D Showcase Disc.
Disney's new Digital 3D content for the home on Blu-ray(TM) will be made available in coordination with hardware manufacturers' upcoming release of new 3D home entertainment systems so that consumers can experience the magic of Disney 3D in their home upon installation

Marvel Entertainment and Paramount Pictures today announced that the highly-anticipated action-adventure Iron Man 2,
directed by Jon Favreau and starring Robert Downey, Jr., will be released to digital IMAX® theatres simultaneously with the film's worldwide release on May 7, 2010.
The film's limited IMAX release will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with IMAX DMR® technology.
Iron Man 2, the sequel to Marvel's box office hit Iron Man, will be distributed by Paramount Pictures.
"The success of the first Iron Man movie catapulted the franchise from the comic books to theatre screens, and we're excited that the IMAX format will offer fans an even more immersive way to experience the sequel," said Tim Connors, Chief Operating Officer, Marvel Studios.

Marvel Studios has commenced principal photography on the highly anticipated feature film Thor directed by Kenneth Branagh. In Thor, Chris Hemsworth portrays the title character with Tom Hiddleston in the role of Thor's brother Loki, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Additionally, the studio has cast Academy Award®
winning actor Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Renee Russo as Frigga, Ray Stevenson as Volstagg, Tadanobu Asano as Hogun, Josh Dallas as Fandral, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Idris Elba as Heimdall, as well as Colm Feore, Kat Dennings and award-winning actor Stellan Skarsgard.
The film is slated for release in theatres domestically on May 6, 2011 via Paramount Pictures which will also release the film on a worldwide basis.
The epic adventure Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard.
At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
The screenplay for Thor was penned by Mark Protosevich as well as Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz, and Don Payne. Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige will produce the film. Alan Fine, Stan Lee, David Maisel, and Marvel Studio's Co-President, Louis D'Esposito, will executive produce.
In addition to Thor, Marvel Studios is also scheduled to release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including Iron Man 2 on May 7, 2010, The First Avenger: Captain America on July 22, 2011, and The Avengers on May 4, 2012.
